Kindergarten is by far one of the biggest highlights of teaching at Sunny International School. When you begin in September the class don’t know a single word of English and to watch them grow is a very rewarding experience. Coming to the end of the year is a time for revising all they have learnt so far. Today this was in the form of a small activity revising facial features and colours.
Every command would be in English and they would have to follow it. An example is ‘Draw two blue eyes’. The children would slowly follow each instruction and make a delightful face on their coloured paper. Have a look at some works in progress below. These include other activities such as drawing certain numbers of animals and using only one colour to draw a face.
It’s great to see their creativity coming out at such a young age!
