International Grade 4 had a great afternoon of learning today! Our Cambridge English resource books are an excellent way to introduce and revise a wide range of vocabulary during class-time. Alongside challenging worksheets every chapter has a stimulating activity with key words and instructions. Today’s was a section on Origami which the children were all very excited about. The lesson began with a speaking practice and small worksheet activity.
Following this the children could all choose a coloured paper and start crafting! The optional animals to construct were a rabbit, dog, fox, crane and giraffe. The children worked hard to create as many as they could and the results were very impressive!
Beautiful creations! The class was also aided by a whole range of English vocabulary essential to understanding how to build the model. These included the words ‘fold’, ‘cut’, ‘half’, ‘quarter’ and many more.
